My Story

I crossed the International Date Line before I could walk. My dad was Navy, so my earliest memories are scattered across places most kids only see in books. What I remember most are the road trips... my parents loading three kids into a car with a cooler of RC Cola and Moon Pies and driving until we got somewhere worth stopping (hint... it was probably a barbecue joint).

The travel never stopped. Backpacking the Canadian Rockies on my honeymoon with my husband. Taking our grandson on his first safari. Exploring France and Italy with our granddaughter, and Portugal too because she asked nicely.

When I retired, I lasted about a month before I realized I needed a project. I'd been the one planning trips for friends and family for years... the kind where people come back and say, "How did you know about that place?" Turns out that's a real job.  So I made it mine.

I help couples who have devoted years to building careers and raising families savor a new chapter of life through travel. I handle everything behind the scenes so the only thing they have to think about is being there... together.

That's really it. That's the whole purpose.

What It Means to Work Together

When someone tells me they want 'a week in Italy,' the first thing I ask is what they don't want. The answer is different every time, but that's where the real planning starts.

I'll spend hours finding the right property, the right timing, the right experiences for who you actually are. I work my connections. I think. I explore. Because it's not just the boat. It's the boat with the right captain, at the right time of day, with a bottle of prosecco ready. By the time you leave, every part of the trip feels like it was made for you. Because it was.
